Choose a clear first product

Decide whether the first piece is a soft everyday tee, a relaxed heavyweight shirt, a hoodie or headwear. Then compare a short list of styles. A BELLA+CANVAS 3001, Comfort Colors 1717 and Next Level 3600 offer different starting points; none is automatically the correct blank for every brand.

Use the garment chart and, where practical, a physical sample. A design that looks right on a mockup can feel different on the actual fit, weight and fabric color.

Make the garment and artwork work together

Decide how you want the decoration to look and feel. The size of the graphic, number of placements, fabric and the desired detail affect the process. Bring references for the result you want instead of assuming one printing method must be used.

A large graphic, subtle chest logo and embroidered cap are three separate decoration decisions. Small text or fine artwork may need adaptation. Approve the final production artwork and placement, not only the original design file.

Control the first-run complexity

Each additional design and garment combination adds choices about size allocation, stock, preparation and cost. Start with a clear allocation and use real audience information where you have it. Do not rely on a generic size ratio as if it describes every customer base.

Our bulk minimum is 72 pieces per design. Tell us the complete planned collection so we can confirm how the minimum applies rather than treating a mixed collection as one identical run.

Budget for a finished product

Compare completed decorated-item quotes, not just blank garment prices. Include artwork preparation, placements and any agreed packaging or delivery. Your own retail planning should also consider how you will photograph, sell and distribute the product.

If you have a target per decorated item, share it. We can discuss an everyday-value option and an upgrade, or identify changes to the garment and decoration scope. The written quote confirms the actual specification and price.

Build on experience, with the details recorded

Our experience in apparel printing and white-label brand development helps us assess garment selection, decoration and order specifications together. We can help you plan a collection around its intended audience, use and budget.

Keep the accepted garment style, color, artwork version, placements and size breakdown for future planning. Later runs still need availability and specification checks. Start your brief with the audience and what you want them to wear proudly.
