Describe a normal shift

Tell us whether the team works outside, drives between jobs, meets customers or moves between indoor and outdoor spaces. Landscapers, pool service teams and delivery drivers can have different priorities even when all need a company logo. Include laundering habits and any required workplace specifications.

If certified safety apparel is required, provide the exact specification. A bright garment color alone does not establish that it meets a safety standard. We review the appropriate garment separately from the appearance of the print.

Consider fabric and artwork together

A cotton tee may suit the look and feel you want. A performance shirt may be another useful candidate. Weight, fit, construction and the garment’s intended function matter alongside the cotton or polyester percentage.

Large, solid artwork can change how an area of the shirt feels. A front chest logo and a prominent back mark serve different purposes. Explain whether recognition across a job site, a neat customer-facing appearance or a merchandise look is the priority.

Plan the uniform as a small system

A crew kit may include a daily tee, a customer-facing polo, a cap and a cooler-weather layer. Coordinating those items does not require forcing the same decoration method onto every piece. A cap logo needs a different review from a large shirt graphic.

Compare the Gildan 5000 and Team 365 TT11 for different tee starting points, the Harriton M265 or Devon & Jones DG20 for polos, and an adjustable Richardson cap where size flexibility matters. These are options for review, not a blanket recommendation for every outdoor role.

Get the size breakdown right

Ask the actual wearers for sizes and use the relevant garment chart. One brand’s large can fit differently from another’s. Fitted caps need sizes too, while an adjustable cap still has a stated fit range.

For a continuing uniform program, keep the accepted style, color, decoration details and size allocation in your records. Availability can change, so later orders should confirm the current specification rather than assume the original blank is unchanged.

Set expectations for wear and care

A suitable print system, correct application and appropriate care all contribute to the result. Sweat, abrasion, laundering and drying conditions vary, so no single lifespan promise applies to every crew and garment.

Send the working conditions, design, quantity, deadline and target budget with your inquiry. We will review the combination and put the agreed order details in writing before production.
